Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in GraphQL API development, backend engineering, and modern frontend technologies.The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APIs and delivering end-to-end application features. This role requires hands-on experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, Node.js, TypeScript, React/Angular, cloud services, and database technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain GraphQL schemas, resolvers, and API services.
• Build scalable REST APIs with proper versioning and OpenAPI documentation.
• Develop frontend applications using React or Angular with TypeScript.
• Implement authentication and authorization, including RBAC and access controls.
• Optimize API performance, caching, pagination, and query execution.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-based applications and services.
• Implement unit, integration, and contract testing.
• Monitor application performance using logging, tracing, metrics, and alerting.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and engineering teams.

Required Technical Skills

• GraphQL: Schema Design, Resolvers, Federation, Schema Stitching, Subscriptions, Apollo Server, AWS AppSync.
• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Java, or .NET.
• Frontend: React.js, Angular, TypeScript.
• API Development: GraphQL, REST APIs, OpenAPI, API Gateway.
• Database: PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB, NoSQL.
• Cloud: AWS Lambda, AWS AppSync, API Gateway, Cognito or Azure equivalents.
• DevOps: Docker, CI/CD, Cloud Deployment.
• Testing: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Contract Testing.
• Monitoring: Logging, Distributed Tracing, Metrics, Alerting.

Experience \& Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience designing and implementing production GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building frontend applications that consume custom-designed APIs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments and production deployments.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and access control.
• Public sector, SLED, or higher education experience is preferred.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
