Investment Analyst

Job Summary

AWM Capital is seeking an Investment Analyst to support its investment team through financial analysis, market research, and investment evaluation. The successful candidate will assist in analyzing financial data, researching industry and market trends, and assessing potential investment opportunities to support informed investment decisions.

Duties

• Collect, organize, and analyze financial market, industry, and company information, while monitoring market developments and relevant economic indicators.
• Research investment opportunities in fixed income and real estate-related financial markets, assessing market trends, investment conditions, and factors that may affect investment performance.
• Review corporate financial statements and related financial information, analyzing revenue, profitability, cash flow, and debt levels to assess financial performance.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating financial models and valuation analyses to evaluate investment performance and potential risks.
• Use Microsoft Excel and other financial data tools to organize information, perform financial modeling, and conduct quantitative analysis while ensuring data accuracy.
• Support investment due diligence by reviewing financial documents, verifying key data, and gathering relevant market information.
• Prepare investment research reports, financial analysis summaries, and internal presentations that clearly communicate findings, supporting analysis, and key risks.
• Collaborate with investment and finance teams to provide market research and financial analysis support, assist in evaluating investment opportunities, and monitor the performance of existing investments.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge or practical experience in financial analysis, investment research, or a related field, with the ability to organize financial information and conduct investment analysis.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, financial markets, and investment principles, supported by strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis, reporting, and modeling; experience with financial data platforms or analytical tools is an advantage.
• Strong research, attention to detail, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret data and present findings clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in investment management, asset management, investment banking, investment research, or financial analysis.
• Experience researching or analyzing fixed income products or real estate financial markets.
• Familiarity with financial modeling, company valuation, investment return analysis, or transaction evaluation.
• Knowledge of financial market regulations, risk management, or investment compliance requirements.

Pay: $108,000.00 - $134,000.00 per year
