Job Summary

Duties

• Actively engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to promote insurance products and services.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess their needs, explain coverage options, and negotiate policies that best fit their individual or business requirements.
• Manage sales administration tasks efficiently using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to track leads, follow-ups, and policy details.
• Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, addressing inquiries promptly, and maintaining ongoing communication to foster loyalty.
• Stay informed on the latest insurance regulations, compliance standards, and industry trends related to property casualty, health, and life insurance.
• Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to facilitate smooth policy issuance and claims processing while ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines such as HIPAA.
• Support marketing initiatives by participating in community events or campaigns aimed at expanding our client base and increasing brand awareness.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as a Property \& Casualty (P\&C) Insurance Agent is required; additional licenses in health or life insurance are a plus.
• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance industry or related fields.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse client populations.
• Familiarity with commercial insurance products and benefits administration enhances your effectiveness in this role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), CRM systems, and sales automation tools is essential.
• Excellent analysis skills for evaluating client needs and recommending suitable coverage options.
• Knowledge of insurance regulation standards such as HIPAA compliance for health-related policies is advantageous.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client communication and relationship building.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment dedicated to achieving sales targets.
