Logistics Associate

Job Overview

Paper Mart is a growing supplier of packaging, retail and food service products. We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Logistics Associate to help get customer orders shipped on time and at the right cost.

What you'll do

• Request and compare LTL and FTL freight quotes from carriers for customer orders
• Choose the best carrier on cost, transit time and insurance coverage, making sure the product is fully covered
• Prepare bills of lading (BOLs) and schedule pickups
• Coordinate drop-ship and blind-ship orders with suppliers
• Track shipments and keep customers and sales reps updated
• Resolve freight issues like delays, damages, claims and billing discrepancies
• Keep shipping records and documents organized

What we're looking for

• 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping or freight coordination (preferred)
• Familiarity with LTL freight, BOLs and carrier portals
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Comfortable with email, spreadsheets and order systems (Shopify a plus)
• Able to juggle multiple orders and deadlines

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
