Remote Personal Benefits Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a relationship-focused professional to help individuals make informed decisions about their personal coverage and benefit options. This position involves reviewing individual needs, discussing available solutions, and helping people understand the details involved in selecting and enrolling in a plan.

The ideal candidate brings some professional experience, communicates confidently, and can manage client conversations independently while maintaining a high standard of service. You will work with individuals who have expressed interest in learning more, using established processes and available resources to help them move forward with confidence.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Conduct scheduled phone consultations with interested individuals to understand their priorities and concerns
• Evaluate individual needs and identify relevant coverage options for further consideration
• Present plan features, eligibility requirements, costs, and benefits in an accessible manner
• Guide individuals through application requirements and enrollment procedures
• Maintain ongoing communication with prospective clients as they evaluate their options
• Document client interactions, track outstanding questions, and manage follow-up activities
• Apply product knowledge and communication skills to support informed decisions and successful enrollments

Experience and Skills

• Previous experience in customer relations, client services, account management, consulting, or another client-facing position
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with a range of individuals
• Confidence leading phone conversations and explaining detailed information
• Good judgment when assessing needs and presenting appropriate options
• Effective time management, organization, and follow-through
• Proficiency with everyday computer applications and digital communication tools
• A self-directed approach to work, with the ability to meet individual performance goals

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
