Security Specialist

**Position Title:** Security Specialist **Location:** DoD Cyber Crime Center (DC3\), 911 Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090 **Work Type:** Hybrid **Schedule:** Full\-time, Monday through Friday **Pay Range:** $85,000 – $120,000 per year **Position Overview** The Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3\) is the Defense Department’s national focal point for digital and multimedia forensics, cyber training, vulnerability disclosure, and analytic support to law enforcement, counterintelligence, and the defense industrial base. INTECON delivers the mission\-enabling workforce that sustains DC3’s operations, and we are seeking cleared professionals to support this critical national security mission. In this role, you will safeguard DC3’s people, facilities, and classified information, administering personnel, physical, industrial, information, and sensitive compartmented facility (SCIF) security programs and ensuring continuous compliance within a classified operating environment. This is a hybrid position based at DC3 in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. **Roles and Responsibilities** ● Support the DC3 security program across personnel, physical, industrial, information, and sensitive compartmented facility (SCIF) security. ● Administer personnel security, including security questionnaires, background\-investigation submissions, certification checks, and identity\-badge issuance. ● Conduct facility access audits, security inspections, and vulnerability assessments, manage access\-control systems, and track corrective actions. ● Apply federal security regulations across facility, industrial, information, and personnel security programs. ● Develop and maintain continuity\-of\-operations and emergency plans and support related exercises. **Required Qualifications** ● Experience managing or supporting a security program of similar size and complexity; Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (required for the lead role). ● Experience in personnel security and badge operations, including background\-investigation systems and identity\-card issuance. ● Experience in government security programs, including facility, industrial, information, and personnel security, with inspections and vulnerability assessments. ● Experience in continuity planning, emergency operations, or physical security. **Required Education** High school diploma, Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree in a related field. **Required Clearance Level** Active Top Secret/SCI clearance. **Benefits** ● Comprehensive Group Health Plans (Medical, Dental, and Vision) coverage. ● Company\-paid Short\-Term and Long\-Term Disability, Life, and AD\&D Insurance. ● Flexible Spending Accounts and Supplemental Plans Available. ● Company\-paid Training and Development Programs. ● Generous Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay. ● 401k Retirement Plan with Company Match. ● Critical Illness and Accident Insurance. ● Employee Assistance Program. **About INTECON** Founded in 1999, INTECON has been a trusted leader in delivering cutting\-edge technology and strategic solutions for defense, security, and mission\-critical operations for over two decades.
