We’re Hiring: Senior Web Developer, AI-Augmented (LATAM | Remote)

Thrivelab is looking for a Senior Web Developer, AI- Augmented who’s not just a strong full-stack engineer, but an AI-native one. If AI is already part of how you think, code, and ship, and you’re excited about building LLM-powered features on a modern stack (React, TanStack, NestJS, Next.js, AWS), we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications
• Lead architecture discussions and drive key technical decisions
• Work with React + TanStack on the frontend, NestJS on the backend, and Next.js for SSR and API routes
• Manage infrastructure and deployments on AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3)
• Build AI-powered features: LLM integrations, agentic workflows, and RAG pipelines in production
• Use AI tools daily to speed up delivery, from scaffolding and debugging to test generation
• Ensure quality through code reviews, automated tests, and thoughtful AI-assisted workflows

What you bring:

• Must be based in LATAM
• 5+ years of professional web development experience
• Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf, or similar), and the ability to explain what you trust AI to do and where you override it
• Hands-on experience shipping LLM features (prompt/context engineering, function calling, RAG, evals, or agents)
• Deep React expertise, plus strong experience with TanStack Query and Router
• Solid NestJS and Next.js (SSR/SSG) experience
• AWS proficiency and modern CI/CD with containerized environments
• A sharp eye for when AI-generated code is subtly wrong

Bonus points:

• MCP servers, agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI), or eval harnesses
• Healthcare, HIPAA, or telehealth experience
• Microservices, event-driven architecture, or infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, AWS CDK)
• Open-source contributions, AI side projects, or a public dev blog
• Mentoring junior developers on responsible AI workflows
