About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season. This is a remote, seasonal position ideal for someone with a strong background in tax preparation and technical accounting. If you’re detail-oriented, confident with complex returns, and enjoy helping clients navigate their tax obligations, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate tax returns for:
• Complex individual returns
• Business returns (1120, 1120S, 1065)
• Review financial records to identify eligible deductions and credits
• Input and manage tax data using financial software
• Stay current on federal and state tax laws to ensure compliance
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and answer tax-related questions
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the tax preparation process

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of tax preparation experience (Required)
• Strong knowledge of current tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency with tax preparation software
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Background in public accounting is a plus
• Relevant certifications (EA, CPA, or tax preparer certification) preferred

• Hourly Pay: $40–$50/hour
