Vice President of Finance

**Overview** We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Finance to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Your expertise will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of fiscal responsibility and innovation. As a key member of the executive team, you will shape strategic initiatives, manage risk, and support our mission to deliver impactful services through sound financial stewardship. **Responsibilities** * Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. * Oversee all accounting functions, including corporate accounting, governmental accounting, non\-profit accounting, and technical accounting practices such as ASC 606 revenue recognition standards. * Manage budgeting processes, financial projections, and cost control initiatives to optimize resource allocation. * Ensure accurate preparation and interpretation of financial statements, reports, and analyses in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards, and industry regulations. * Direct treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment management, and risk mitigation strategies. * Implement robust internal controls and risk analysis procedures to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance. * Lead the finance team in utilizing data analytics tools and financial software to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency. * Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, business development opportunities, and industry market insights. * Oversee regulatory reporting requirements for government agencies and ensure adherence to industry\-specific financial regulations. * Conduct detailed account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger management to maintain financial integrity. **Experience** * Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role such as Finance Director or Vice President of Finance within a complex organization. * Extensive background in financial analysis, financial management, and industry knowledge of financial regulations including GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards. * Demonstrated expertise in corporate finance, risk management, treasury operations, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. * Strong proficiency with accounting systems, Excel data analysis tools, financial software platforms, and data analytics tools for decision support. * Experience managing finance teams across multiple functions such as accounting, audit preparation, compliance management, and financial reporting. * Familiarity with public accounting practices or governmental accounting is highly desirable. * Exceptional leadership skills combined with strategic thinking ability to influence organizational growth positively.
