The Twist of Fate Podcast (https://twistoffatepodcast.com) is a small business podcast hosted by 3STEPS4WARD Founder \& CEO Douglas Younger III. Each episode unites entrepreneurs, business leaders, and dreamers to share personal stories of inspiration, hardship, and success, and is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Music, and Google Podcasts. **About the Role:** We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with strong design instincts to join the 3STEPS4WARD team and own the look, feel, and performance of our websites. You'll build and maintain sites for 3STEPS4WARD, Twist of Fate Comics, and the Twist of Fate Podcast, and create the landing pages and digital assets that support our campaigns, comic pre\-orders and launches, podcast promotion, and events. You'll work closely with our marketing and creative teams, and our artists, to turn brand vision into polished, fast, user\-friendly web experiences. This is a remote, US\-based role. **What You Will Do:** * **Website Development:** Build, maintain, and update responsive websites for 3STEPS4WARD, Twist of Fate Comics, and the Twist of Fate Podcast, keeping them fast, secure, and easy to use on every device * **Web \& UI Design:** Design page layouts, graphics, and interface elements that reflect each brand's look and voice, from the dystopian sci\-fi style of the comics to the professional tone of our consulting work * **Campaign Landing Pages:** Create landing pages and microsites for comic pre\-order and launch campaigns, podcast episodes, events such as LA Comic Con, and client marketing campaigns * **Content Management:** Manage site content and plugins, add new episodes, issues, and press materials, and make quick updates as the team requests them * **Email \& Social Assets:** Design and code email templates and web\-ready graphics that match our websites and campaigns * **SEO \& Analytics:** Implement SEO best practices, set up and monitor analytics, and share insights on traffic, conversions, and site performance with the team * **Site Maintenance:** Handle hosting, domains, backups, updates, and troubleshooting to keep our sites running smoothly * **Collaboration:** Work with the marketing team, writers, artists, and our publicist to integrate comic art, podcast media, and press content into the sites * Additional duties as necessary, or as defined by individual contracts **Qualifications \& Skills:** * Proven professional experience as a web developer, front\-end developer, or web designer, with a strong portfolio of live websites that demonstrates both technical skill and good design * Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with a CMS or site builder such as WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, or Shopify * Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva * Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, page speed, and user experience * Working knowledge of SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console * Experience with e\-commerce, email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot), or embedding podcast and video players is a plus * Ability to align with the vision and values of the brands while bringing your own creative style * A passion for storytelling, comics, and science fiction is a plus * Consistent time\-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines * Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment * Ability to edit and revise work based on feedback while being proactive in communicating any questions or concerns * Bachelor's degree or certificate in Web Development, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States **To Apply:** Please submit your resume, a cover letter, and links to your portfolio that demonstrate your web development and design work (live sites are preferred).
