Wordpress Designer (Telecommute)

The Position:

We are looking for a rockstar Wordpress Designer to join our team. BeaverBuilder is preferred. Bottom line: If you don't have a stellar portfolio of Wordpress websites you have personally created from the ground up, please don't apply. We need someone who can work remotely on a freelance basis. This is agency work and number of hours per week will depend on client demand. We need someone who can multi-task and complete work in a self-managed setting. You will work with our Director of IT to deliver the creative concepts and build outs for a wide range of clients including dental practices, manufacturing companies, and B2C firms.

The Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and customize Client websites using Wordpress, PHP, HTML \& CSS

- Create and edit pages, posts, forms, graphics, photos and videos on Wordpress-based websites

- Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback, and present solutions

- Ensure that all design elements, templates, and finished solutions work across browser types and screen settings

- Collaborate effectively with team members and clients on all projects

- Meet face-to-face, via Google Video Chat and/or web conferencing regularly with other team members and clients as needed

Qualifications:

- 4+ years experience in web-based graphic design or web interface design

- Experience programming, designing and maintaining a CMS, using Wordpress, and BeaverBuilder

- Knowledge of software including Photoshop and Illustrator (Adobe InDesign )

- Time and project management skills

- Ability to deliver results within a preset number of estimated hours.

- Organizational skills and attention to detail

- Custom Wordpress plug-ins \& module modifications

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $95.00 per hour
