About The Opportunity

This position offers the opportunity to manage manufacturing equipment projects from detail design coordination through installation, startup, commissioning, and handover.

As Bridor’s owner representative, you will coordinate equipment suppliers, building engineering partners, contractors, and plant teams while managing schedules, budgets, and technical requirements. External engineering partners perform much of the detailed engineering; you will guide and review their work to ensure it meets Bridor’s production needs and design standards.

Projects include greenfield food manufacturing facilities, brownfield expansions within operating plants, and green production-line installations. The role requires engineering judgment, consistent follow-through, and the ability to move projects forward across multiple teams.

Salt Lake City, Dallas, Philadelphia are preferred initial locations. Future relocation to the Dallas/Lancaster, Texas area will be required when business needs dictate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead process-equipment projects from scope development, detail design coordination through installation, commissioning, startup, and handover
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budget tracking, critical milestones, and action plans.
  • Identify project risks, monitor costs, manage scope changes, and communicate issues requiring decisions
  • Coordinate equipment suppliers, engineering partners, installation contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Review equipment specifications, layouts, technical drawings, and supplier proposals against production requirements and Bridor standards
  • Support procurement through technical evaluations, purchasing-scope clarification, and supplier coordination
  • Develop and maintain North American process-equipment design standards, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Food Safety to address equipment performance, hygienic design, sanitation, accessibility, and maintainability
  • Coordinate equipment interfaces with building, construction and utilities teams
  • Manage installation readiness, coordinate testing and commissioning, track acceptance criteria, and resolve outstanding issues before handover
  • Provide plant teams with complete drawings, equipment manuals, specifications, and project documentation
  • Apply lessons learned to improve future equipment projects

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/chemical engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • 4–7 years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing equipment, process engineering, and capital projects
  • Experience delivering manufacturing equipment projects involving suppliers, technical partners, and internal teams
  • Ability to interpret and evaluate engineering drawings, equipment layouts, and technical specifications
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or comparable drawing tools and project management software
  • Ability to manage schedules, monitor costs, identify risks, and meet project commitments
  • Strong communication, organization, and practical problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ownership, adaptability, and accountability for project results
  • Ability to coordinate technical partners and vendors without direct supervisory authority
  • Willingness to meet the travel requirements and relocate to the Dallas/Lancaster area when required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Process-equipment project experience in food manufacturing greenfield facilities or brownfield expansions
  • Food, beverage, or bakery manufacturing experience
  • Experience representing a manufacturing owner during capital-project delivery
  • Knowledge of hygienic equipment design, food safety, HACCP principles, and sanitation requirements
  • Experience with production-line installation, startup, and commissioning
  • Experience coordinating projects across multiple manufacturing sites or engineering disciplines

Relevant candidates from manufacturing companies, engineering consulting firms, equipment suppliers, and design-build organizations are encouraged to apply.

Why Join Bridor?

  • Help deliver the equipment and production lines supporting Bridor’s North American expansion
  • Take ownership of projects and see your work through to production
  • Work directly with equipment manufacturers, engineering partners, and the plant teams that operate and maintain the equipment
  • Contribute to new facilities and expansions within operating food manufacturing plants
  • Shape equipment standards that will guide future investments across North America

U.S. work authorization is required. This position does not offer employment visa sponsorship.
