Job Description
A boutique real estate law firm based in Boca Raton, Florida, is seeking an experienced Real Estate (Evictions) Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join its growing team. The firm handles a broad range of Florida real estate litigation and transactional matters, with this position primarily focused on residential and commercial landlord-tenant eviction matters.
The firm represents landlords seeking to lawfully recover possession of their properties. We prefer you have Evictions experience but as long as you have some Real Estate Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience then we can train you on evictions.
This is a 100% remote opportunity for candidates who demonstrate the experience, independence, and organizational skills necessary to succeed in a remote, high-volume practice. Remote eligibility will be determined by the firm during the interview process.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have at least ONE (1) year of experience handling Florida eviction matters, along with some background in real estate law.
Although prior eviction experience is required, the firm is willing to provide training on its specific eviction procedures and workflows. The successful candidate must be comfortable managing approximately 70–100 active cases at a time while maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and communicating effectively with attorneys and other team members.
This position is well suited for someone who is proactive, dependable, comfortable working independently, and capable of staying organized in a fast-paced legal environment.

- Maintain attorney calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely completion of case-related tasks.
- Draft client correspondence, notices, and other legal communications.
- Enter and maintain accurate billable time entries on behalf of attorneys.
- Maintain organized electronic case files and monitor matters through each stage of the eviction process.
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties as appropriate.
- Provide general litigation and administrative support as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience handling Florida eviction matters (or other Real Estate experience).
- Some experience in real estate law, real estate litigation, landlord-tenant matters, or related legal work.
- Prior experience working in a law firm as a paralegal or legal assistant.
- Familiarity with Florida court procedures and electronic court filing.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while prioritizing competing deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision in a remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency with standard office software, electronic document management, and legal case-management systems.
