You'll combine editorial judgment, performance data, cross-functional influence, and artificial intelligence tools to create clear, inclusive, and authentic candidate experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead GitLab's talent brand strategy, translating our employer value proposition and company direction into clear, differentiated candidate messaging.
  • Design integrated campaigns and build scalable content systems, recruiter resources, reporting, event support, and campaign operations across careers content, social media, employer review platforms, talent communities, events, and recruiter channels, using technology and artificial intelligence tools.
  • Set editorial direction and align cross-functional partners and contributors on authentic stories featuring team members, leaders, teams, culture, values, career growth, and the impact of working at GitLab, ensuring accurate, inclusive, culturally relevant, and consistent talent brand work.
  • Advise Talent Acquisition and business leaders on audience strategy and campaigns that support hiring priorities, candidate pipelines, and conversion.
  • Improve candidate journey touchpoints so candidates receive transparent, consistent, and relevant information throughout the hiring process.
  • Use performance data, audience insights, candidate feedback, and talent market and channel trends to set priorities, evaluate results, recommend new approaches, and communicate impact.

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant experience in talent brand, employer brand, or recruitment marketing.
  • Experience developing and leading brand or recruitment marketing strategies across multiple audiences, regions, or hiring priorities.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, editing, and editorial judgment across multiple channels.
  • Experience leading complex campaigns with multiple stakeholders, deadlines, budgets, or external partners.
  • Strong analytical judgment and experience using data, audience insights, feedback, and research to improve outcomes.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, create structure from ambiguity, and move between strategy and execution in an asynchronous environment.
