Key Responsibilities * Analyze financial statements, revenue, expenses, cash flow, and other financial data to evaluate business performance. * Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to support management decision\-making. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis. * Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and business objectives. * Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved profitability. * Develop financial models to evaluate business performance, investment opportunities, and financial risks. * Analyze historical financial data to identify trends, patterns, and potential business opportunities. * Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Perform financial reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records. * Collaborate with accounting, finance, operations, and management teams to gather and analyze financial information. * Support cash flow analysis, expense tracking, and revenue forecasting. * Prepare documentation and maintain organized financial records in accordance with company policies. * Research industry trends, market conditions, and financial benchmarks to support strategic planning. * Assist with financial planning, profitability analysis, and other ad hoc financial projects. Required Skills * Strong understanding of financial analysis, financial statements, and accounting fundamentals. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis. * Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting. * Ability to interpret financial data and convert findings into actionable business insights. * Basic understanding of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. * Familiarity with financial modeling, cost analysis, and profitability analysis. * Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem\-solving skills. * Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with numerical data. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross\-functional teams. Good to Have (Not Mandatory) * Exposure to financial modeling, valuation, or investment analysis. * Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools. * Familiarity with accounting or ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar platforms. * Basic knowledge of SQL or Python for financial data analysis. * Understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP\&A) processes. * Exposure to financial forecasting, scenario analysis, and risk assessment. * Knowledge of financial markets, investment fundamentals, or corporate finance. * Internship or certification in Financial Analysis, Accounting, Finance, or Business Analytics. * Familiarity with financial ratios, key performance indicators (KPIs), and industry benchmarking. * Academic projects involving financial analysis, budgeting, or business forecasting. Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Financial Management, or a related field**. * Relevant coursework, academic projects, or internship experience in financial analysis is a plus. * Professional certifications such as CFA, FMVA, or other relevant finance certifications are an advantage but not mandatory. * Freshers with strong financial knowledge and analytical skills are encouraged to apply.
