Remote Bakery Sales Representative & Order Coordinator (Commission-Based)

In this work\-from\-home role, you will be the face and voice of our bakery—managing everyday inbound cake and cupcake orders while proactively hunting for high\-ticket corporate catering opportunities. **This is a 100% commission\-based 1099 independent contractor position** with a highly lucrative payout structure. If you are a prompt communicator who thrives on closing deals, this job is for you! **Compensation \& Perks:** * **10% Commission** on all standard inbound custom cake and cupcake orders. * **15% Commission** on all outbound, self\-procured corporate and large event catering orders. * **100% Remote / Work from Home** with an incredibly flexible schedule. * Uncapped earning potential—the more orders you close, the more you make! **Key Responsibilities:** * **Inbound Order Management:** Monitor and promptly respond to all customer emails, Instagram/Facebook DMs, and website inquiries. * **Flawless Coordination:** Work closely with the Bakery Owner and Head Baker to verify calendar availability, ingredient lead times, and design feasibility for custom cake and cupcake orders. * **Outbound Catering Sales:** Actively research, prospect, and cold\-reach out to local companies, HR departments, event planners, and venues to secure large corporate catering contracts for meetings, parties, and events. * **Order Tracking:** Formulate clear price quotes, collect necessary customer details, ensure deposits are paid, and hand off finalized orders to the baking team seamlessly. **Requirements:** * **Ultra\-Prompt Response Times:** Must possess excellent time\-management skills and ensure no customer inquiry sits unanswered. Fast responses equal closed sales! * **Exceptional Communication:** Top\-tier written and verbal English skills. You must be professional, warm, and highly organized via email. * **Sales \& Hustle Mentality:** Comfortable with outbound outreach (cold emailing/calling) to secure corporate clients. * **Tech Savvy:** Reliable high\-speed internet, a smartphone, and computer. Familiarity with email management and basic ordering systems (Square PoS or Google Sheets) is a major plus. * **Prior Experience:** Previous experience in bakery coordination is highly preferred but not required.
