Job Description
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Job Type: Freelance / Contract
We are looking for an experienced sample maker to assist with activewear and stretch garment development. The majority of the work will include leggings, sports bras, activewear pants, leotards, and swimwear.
We are looking for an independent sample maker or small business with strong sewing skills and hands-on experience working with spandex and stretch materials.
Required Experience \& Equipment
- Experience sewing with spandex, Lycra, and other stretch fabrics
- Proficiency using an overlock/serger machine
- Proficiency using a coverstitch machine
- Experience using a flatlock machine
- Experience sewing activewear, dancewear, swimwear, or similar stretch garments
- Ability to sew samples from existing patterns and tech packs
- Ability to make sample revisions and adjustments as needed
Additional Details
- Must have access to the necessary sewing machines and equipment
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Looking to build an ongoing working relationship for sampling projects as needed
